Got a young adventurer aged 7–10? Let them unleash their wild side at our 5-day summer camp packed with nature walks, wildlife fun, creative crafts, and hands-on learning – all at Camperdown Wildlife Centre! 🐾🌳 

Dates and times

Camps will run from Monday to Friday during the Summer holidays, on the following dates:

• 14 – 18 July
• 21 – 25 July
• 28 July – 1 Aug
• 4 – 8 Aug

🕙 Time: 10am – 3pm, Monday to Friday 
📍 Location: Camperdown Wildlife Centre

Group Numbers and Staffing

There will be a maximum of 10 participants per programme who will be constantly supervised by experienced members of staff.

Lunch and Breaks

Participants will have supervised lunchtime and short breaks throughout the day.

• Parents/guardians must provide a packed lunch that can be stored safely in the classroom during the morning activities. Please be aware there is no fridge space available.

Protective clothing

Camp participants are asked to wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the programme and the weather. For example:

• Wellington boots.
• Sensible flat footwear.
• Clothes that can get dirty or damaged.
• Waterproof jacket and trousers for wet weather.
• Sun hat and clothes that cover the neck and shoulders for sunny weather.
• Sun Protection - participants must come prepared with protective sun cream when required.

Additional

• Participants can be dropped off at 10am and collected at 3pm from Camp staff at the zoo’s main entrance.
• Only the authorised person stated on the application form can collect participants. If there are any changes to these details please contact our Learning Staff on 01382 431811.

Cost

• Each Wildlife Camp costs £100 per child
