Junior Zoo Keeper Experience

For all zoo keepers of the future, gain first-hand experience of what its like to work with some of the animals at Camperdown Wildlife Centre. The junior Zoo Keeper Experience lets you meet our keepers, feed some of the animals and learn about how we care for them.

The session starts at 11am and last for 2 hours. The two hours allows you to experience:

• Animal enrichment
• Animal enclosure cleaning
• Food preparation
• Animal feeding

The Experience will include lots of different tasks and animals designed to leave a lasting impression.

Junior keeper Experience is only available to people aged 8-17 years of age who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If any participant has phobias or known allergies please check that this experience is suitable by contacting 01382 431811 with more information before booking.

Sensible footwear is required as the paths to some enclosures are uneven. Please wear comfortable and preferably old clothing. Please bring waterproof clothing, as the experience will still take place if weather is awful.

Cost

• The Junior Keeper Experience cost £80 per person. The Junior Keeper is available as a gift token that is valid for up to 12 months.
• Adult spectators can have admission to the Wildlife Centre at a reduced rate.
